The DeFi protocol Aave paused several markets on November 4th due to an issue affecting a specific feature. This pause affected certain assets in Aave V2 Ethereum Market and Aave V2 on Avalanche, as well as some assets in Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism. Aave reported that the issue was identified following a report and took temporary protective measures after developer approval, emphasizing that no funds were at risk. Today we received a report of an issue on a certain feature of the Aave Protocol. After validation by community developers, the guardian has taken the following temporary prevention measure (no funds are at risk):

It appears that the AAVE token's price was not affected, and Aave V3 markets on Ethereum, Base, and Metis were not impacted by the issue. The protocol intends to submit a proposal shortly to restore normal operation and will release a detailed report after the issue is fully resolved.
