After the earthquake disaster that occurred on February 6, the extraordinary efforts and energy displayed by AHBAP and Haluk Levent are still fresh in our memories. One of these contributions was the implementation of cryptocurrency donations. Levent, who took swift action in the days immediately following the earthquake, initiated the process of aggregating cryptocurrency donations, filling the gap in this area, and leading to the collection of a significant amount of aid.

Haluk Levent shared his experiences from this challenging process and emphasized the importance of cryptocurrency-based aid systems for civil society during his speech at Binance Blockchain Week Istanbul. He pointed out that cryptocurrency is a valuable tool in this regard and mentioned that he participated in the Binance Blockchain Week event despite being unfamiliar with cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies, using these technologies for humanitarian purposes.
