The Ethereum Ecosystem and Istanbul's Heart Beat Together in November: Devconnect

This year, Devconnect, the most comprehensive global event in the Ethereum ecosystem, is taking place in Istanbul from November 13th to 19th.

The increasing use of Web3 technologies is boosting interest and commitment to the Web3 world. Particularly, Ethereum's growth in this area has become a crucial factor in the development of the ecosystem. One distinctive feature in this world, differing from the accustomed Web2 technologies, is the significant contribution of developer teams to building systems.

This year, the Ethereum Foundation decided to organize one of the two largest developer conferences in Istanbul to increase the contribution of developer teams to the ecosystem. Devconnect Istanbul will be the largest developer event in the crypto world.

Decentralized Event Series A notable feature of Devconnect is its different working model. The event provides a workspace rather than a central structure, and stakeholders in the ecosystem organize their events near their main conference areas. This approach allows the event to reach a broader audience and focus on more in-depth topics. Ticket sales for the events to be held throughout the week have started. You can access the event schedule here: https://devconnect.org/schedule In addition to the main schedule, there are dozens of side events compiled in different lists across the city.

ETHDAY | Meet Ethereum! ETHDay, organized by the Turkish ecosystem, aims to bring together those interested in this field. The goal of ETHDay is to introduce especially students, software developers, and professionals from the Web2 world to the developer side and culture of Ethereum by presenting Ethereum values (open-source, privacy, censorship resistance, decentralization...). The event will feature prominent figures from the Turkish community, including Ethereum's co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Şant Manukyan, Efe Bulduk, Emre Tekişalp, and more. While the event is free for students, a symbolic amount of 3.33€ has been set for general participants.

This event week in Istanbul is a great opportunity for those who want to step into the developer culture of Ethereum, the leading ecosystem in the crypto world. The fact that this event takes place in Turkey offers a unique opportunity, especially for students and young professionals.
