The Former Ceo Of Binance, Cz, Had His X (Twitter) Account Restricted.

The account of the former Binance CEO was temporarily restricted due to a change in the profile name.

Social media platform X restricted the account of former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao without providing any explanation, stating that it may have potentially violated "X rules."

Users on X were able to view CZ's account after acknowledging that it was temporarily restricted. CZ resigned as Binance CEO on November 21, accepting some allegations as part of an agreement with U.S. authorities.

The restriction was purportedly triggered automatically by X due to CZ changing his profile name from "CZ Binance" to "CZ BNB." CZ commented on the situation, saying:

"The bot detection algorithm of X needs a bit of work. [Elon Musk] can't detect malicious bots and accidentally targets real people."

It remains uncertain whether CZ, an active user on the social media platform, will continue to share posts after stepping down from the position of Binance CEO. Richard Teng, the new leader of the cryptocurrency exchange, has assumed the leadership role despite having a smaller follower base compared to CZ.

The U.S. Department of Justice announced on November 21st that it reached a $4.3 billion settlement with Binance. Additionally, as part of the lawsuit, CZ is being demanded to pay $150 million.
