Coinbase has announced the listing of the governance token SEAM from the decentralized lending and borrowing platform, Seamless Protocol. Simultaneously, Coinbase revealed that the airdrop for this token has commenced.

Major cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has announced that it will list the altcoin Seamless (SEAM). Seamless will be the first Base-based crypto asset to be listed on the Coinbase platform.

In its announcement, the Seamless Protocol stated, "SEAM has become the first and only native Base-based project token listed on Coinbase." The Seamless Protocol team also mentioned having a fair launch airdrop distributed based on ecosystem participation.

Coinbase shared the details of this listing move on its Twitter account:

"Coinbase will add support for Seamless (SEAM), a Base network (ERC-20 token). Do not send this asset from other networks, or your funds may be lost. If liquidity conditions are met, trading will commence on December 11, 2023, at 21:00 UTC or later. Trading on our SEAM-USD pairs will begin gradually after sufficient supply of this asset is ensured. SEAM may be restricted in some supported jurisdictions."
