Alongside its involvement in many significant projects of Google Cloud, the company is imposing specific conditions for those wishing to advertise crypto products in the United States.

Google has announced an update to its policy on crypto advertisements, stating that advertisers offering crypto targeting the U.S. can advertise these products and services when certain conditions are met. The company requires those wanting to advertise crypto to obtain certification, and the policy will come into effect on January 29, 2024.

According to Google's announcement, all advertisers are expected to comply with local laws in the areas their ads target. This policy will apply to all accounts advertising crypto products, and it emphasizes that violations will not result in an immediate account suspension without prior warning. Advertisers will receive a notice at least 7 days in advance of any potential enforcement action.
