Bonk Surges, Surpasses Pepe

Dog-themed cryptocurrency Bonk rises to become the third-largest memecoin.

Bonk (BONK), Solana Network's Dog-Themed Memecoin, Ranks Third in Market Value by Overtaking Pepe on December 8th.

According to data, Bonk surged to a market value of $762 million with a 370% increase last month, surpassing Pepe, whose market value remained at $675 million.

Investors increased their interest in the new trend in the Solana ecosystem, boosting the value of BONK from 0.0000028 dollars to 0.000012 dollars in the last 30 days.

Bonk Surpasses Rooted Memecoins, Shiba Inu and Dogecoin, with a Rapid Price Increase. With this surge, Bonk became the third-largest memecoin, surpassing DOGE and SHIB, the two major players with market values of $6 billion and $14.4 billion, respectively.

Several factors may contribute to the rise in Bonk's price, including listings on central exchanges such as Binance and KuCoin. Additionally, futures trading data shows a significant increase in open positions last month, indicating that traders are increasing volatility by trading high-volume Bonk derivatives.

BONK was launched on December 29, 2022, and despite bearish market conditions, it experienced a substantial 3,766% increase in the first week. However, after January 5, the Bonk price started to decline and remained near all-time lows for most of the year.

Nevertheless, Bonk, recovering since October 21, 2023, has gained 6,215% in value since then, making it the best-performing memecoin in the last three months.
